AREAS OF PRACTICE
As a trial attorney, Mr. Dooley represents individuals and companies in the area of complex commercial litigation and general civil litigation, where his background ranges from construction defects and contract disputes to real property matters. In addition, he has significant experience in appellate work, including having argued several cases before the California Courts of Appeal. Mr. Dooley is a veteran of numerous trials, arbitrations and appellate proceedings. This experience includes both state and federal litigation involving claims of fraud and business torts, contract disputes, false advertising, class actions, product liability, tort defense, construction-related issues of design, errors and omissions and defects in plans, specifications, and workmanship of all areas of construction on behalf of developers, general contractors and subcontractors, as well as general maritime/admiralty claims.
EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
Brendan Dooley received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1988. Mr. Dooley received his J.D. degree from Tulane University in 1992, where he was selected Senior Editor of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and elected by his peers to the University’s Honor Board.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
Prior to starting Horner Law Group, Mr. Dooley was a senior trial attorney at De La Housaye & Associates, which specializes in General and Civil Commercial Litigation.

Mr. Dooley is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California, and is a member of the Contra Costa and Irish American Bar Association.
